Although the wearing of uniform is not statutory, we find that wearing it gives the children a sense of identity. It also prevents any disagreements as to what your child might want to wear. Uniform can be purchased at the nursery. We have red and blue polo shirts, and red and blue sweat shirts and cardigans. We sell it at nursery on a non profit making basis. We ask that your child wears leggings or joggers if possible as these are easier for them to manage. Please ensure that your child's clothing has their name inside.
During the summer months we ask that they have a sun hat in school. Open-toed shoes are not allowed. This is purely for health and safety reasons as children spend a large amount of time in our outdoor classroom, building, digging and riding large wheeled toys.
Children who are transferring to primary schools at the end of the academic year take part in Monkey Monday, each week. During these sessions they use the large climbing frame. For your child's health and safety can earrings be removed or covered with tape, and along hair tied back. Please can you ensure they are wearing leggings, joggers or shorts.
